Inspecting the subject propertyOur first duty at Metric Realty is to inspect the property to determine its true status. The inspection often includes a sketch of the floorplan, ensuring the square footage is correct and illustrating the layout of the property. This figure commonly sets the maximum on what a property would sell for. They thoroughly understand the value of specific features to the homeowners of that area. Then, the appraiser looks up recent sales in the area and finds properties which are 'comparable' to the real estate being appraised.
